ippl-dbg software package provides debugging systems for ippl, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ippl-dbg
ippl-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ippl-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ippl-dbg *
You will get with ippl-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
